J&K Police: 2 individuals have reportedly sustained minor injuries today due to an explosive substance which exploded when they were apparently fiddling with it in their neighbourhood at Damhal area of Kulgam. Both were were shifted to hospital for the treatment of injuries.
The restriction on civilian movement between Srinagar and Baramulla on NH-44 will be completely lifted w.e.f. 2-05-2019. There would be no prohibition on civilian traffic in this stretch on Sunday or Wednesday.

1 year agoMilitant who attacked Police station Chanapora of Srinagar in which one J&K Policeman got injured has been arrested by Joint forces in Chadoora area of Budgam. His name is Mushtaq Ahmad Rather. One pistol and some ammunition recovered which he used for the attack.

A Border Security Force (BSF) trooper on Friday tried to commit suicide in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar district.
Anantnag and Bijbehara town in south Kashmir remained shut for the second straight day on Friday in wake of the killing of two militants.
The militants killed in Bijbehara encounter have been identified as Safder Amin Bhat of Bijbehara and Burhan Ahmad Ganaie of Kulgam. The duo was affiliated with the Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist outfit.
